TRAINING PROGRAMS
Skill 1- FIRST AIDSafety comes first. All members of our program will be trained in First Aid, CPR, AED, O2 and Wilderness First Aid.

Skill 2- COMMUNICATIONEach team member will need to learn how to speak in front of a group to give a presentation or talk.

Skill 3- COOKINGMembers of the group will learn how to prepare a meal for the group on an outdoor outing.

SKILL 4- LAND NAVIGATIONNavigation is a valuable skill while on an outdoor outing. It is used to help you not get lost and a way to find your way back to base camp.
SKILL 7- BACK PACKINGDue to remote locations that do not have roads, our teams need to carry basic needs in backpacks. Members learn how to pack and carry basics equipment needed on a camp out.
SKILL 10- SCUBA/SNORKELScuba and Snorkeling will be taught to allow group members to explore the underwater world. While underwater, they will be able to encounter dolphins, manatees and other awesome marine life.

SKILL 5- OUTDOOR SURVIVALIf you find yourself lost, survival training will help you make fire, water, shelter, food and a way to signal rescuers.
SKILL 8- CYCLINGCycling is an alternative to motor transportation. Members will learn how to ride mountain and touring bikes, while also being able to keep them well maintained and repaired.
SKILL 11- WATER CRAFTWatercraft pertains to kayaks to sailboats. Members will learn safety procedures and maintenance of watercraft. Safety and the rules of the road will be the key focus in training, while proving open water experience.

SKILL 6- CONSERVATIONConservation is a valuable tool to help keep our campsites natural. We practice no tracks... no trace. Take only pictures.
SKILL 9- ECOLOGYMembers will learn about the cycle of life and how important the balance of nature is. Projects like the turtle walk and release will be part of this learning process.
SKILL 12- PLANTS/WILDIFEMembers will learn about the benefit of plants and animals in the outdoors. Plants and wildlife will be identified to help members understand what species are safe and which species have can be harmful if encountered on a activity.
